Empfang beim Bundespräsidenten

Die Helden von Patras im Schloss Bellevue

Einen herzlichen Empfang bereitete Bundespräsident Horst Köhler der Deutschen Gehörlosen-Nationalmannschaft bei einem Empfang mit Fototermin in seinem Amtssitz, dem Berliner Schloss Bellevue. Mit einem spontanen „Herzlich Willkommen“ in Gebärdensprache begrüßte er auf der Freitreppe des Schlosses die Fußballnationalspieler des DGS. Begleitet wurden sie, neben den DGS Bundestrainern Frank Zürn und Werner von der Ruhren, Fachwart Dieter Wickert, auch vom Vizepräsidenten Peter Fiebiger, Generalsekretär Winfried Wiencek und Sportdirektorin Sabine Grajewski, sowie dem Ehepaar Peter vom SV Frauenzimmern. Vor einigen Tagen hatte dort die Fußball-Nationalmannschaft ihr Testspiel gegen Tschechien, das bekanntlich 7:0 gewonnen wurde. Von dort aus ging auch die Initiative zum Empfang beim Bundespräsidenten für unsere Fußball-Weltmeister aus.

Aktivensprecher Fillip Kieffer gemeinsam mit Bundespräsident Horst Köhler vor einem Teil der Mannschaft auf der Freitreppe des Schlosses Bellevue.

Nach einer kleinen Ansprache und einem gemeinsamen Foto auf der Treppe überreichte Aktivensprecher Fillip Kieffer dem Bundespräsidenten ein Erinnerungsfoto des Weltmeisters 2008 in Patras.
