Zu diesem Wettkampf traten vier Damen, davon drei Kaderspielerinnen an, es spielte jede gegen jede. Dabei setzte sich Sommer ohne Satzverlust durch, wobei sich ihre Begegnung gegen Dießlin aus Freiburg denkbar knapp mit 21:18- und 21:19-Satzsiegen gestaltete

1. Platz: Ines Sommer (GSV Brandenburg e.V.)

2. Platz: Helga Dießlin (GSV Freiburg e.V.)

3. Platz: Irmgard Fritz (GSC Nürnberg e.V.)

 

Herren-Einzel Senioren Ü32

In dieser Disziplin waren sieben Herren gemeldet. Es gab eine 3er- und eine 4er- Gruppe. Der Vorjahressieger Thorsten Gottwald aus Schleswig erreichte erwartungsgemäß das Finale. Der altbekannte Freiburger Haudegen Alexander Vogt, der sich nach vielen Jahren wieder für dieses Turnier angemeldet hatte, konnte sich ohne Satzverlust bis zum Finale durchsetzen.

Zu Beginn des Finales ließ Gottwald nichts anbrennen, fabrizierte kaum Fehler, ließ Vogt keine Chance und erarbeite sich einen scheinbar komfortablen Vorsprung. Vogt kam im Laufe des Satzes zunehmend besser ins Spiel, nutzte seinen Erfahrungsschatz, holte seinen Rückstand auf und überholte seinen Gegner im ersten Satz auf der Zielgeraden mit einem 22:20 Satzsieg. Im zweiten Satz machte er gegen den demoralisierten Gottwald den Sack zu und entschied auch das Match mit klar 21:11 für sich. Das Spiel um Platz drei musste auf Grund einer Verletzung von Hildebrandt abgebrochen werden und Lebkuchen holte kampflos Bronze.
